Justine Hryczaniuk

Justine grew up in Louisa, Va and has been around horses from the womb – her mom bred and
raised Quarter Horses. Early childhood memories of riding in the saddle in front of her mom and
then taking care of her own onery Shetland pony. When Justine was 9 years old, she started
training in Classical Dressage. She competed through Third Level throughout her teenage years
and into college. Justine attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va and earned a bachelor’s
degree in Animal Science as well as Biological Sciences. After completing her undergrad she
turned to trail riding with her APHA mare and dabbled in foxhunting. She spent 9 years working
and learning about commercial food livestock systems in southern Virginia and North Carolina
before returning to central Virginia to be closer to her family. She continues to expand her horse
knowledge by taking up driving in the last 5 years. In her free time, she enjoys driving her mini
horse and competing in combined driving events up and down the east coast. She also enjoys
snuggles with her 12 year old mini dachshund Stella!
